About Bio-training.nl

Bio-training.nl was founded from the desire to contribute to the standardization of information security within the government. Previously, various government entities had their own baseline for information security. For instance, municipalities had the BIG, the central government had the BIR, water boards had the BIWA, and provinces had the IBI. With the introduction of the government-wide Baseline Information Security Government (BIO), it has become possible to offer uniform training. Van Haren Publishing, along with several security professionals from the field, contributed to the development of the training, the materials, and the examination for Certified BIO Professional (CBP). Ruben Zeegers, a security professional, was involved in this development and is also the initiator of bio-training.nl.
